Cohort X Journal

Cohort X Journal (CXJ) is a peer-reviewed, Internet/Print journal sponsored by Cohort X. Although the primary focus of the journal is children from birth to 8 years of age, we will also publish articles, essays, editorials and letters to the editor concerning the education of children and young adults. This includes submissions from all educational disciplines, including Educational Administration, Physical Education and Counseling.
Distribution Schedule
Cohort X Journal will be published quarterly on the internet and will contain continuously updated information.
The Journal will cover topics related to the education and development of children birth to eight years of age.
CXJ will contain manuscripts on:
CXJ’s target audience is in-service teachers, policy makers, administrators, parent’s professors and the general public. The focus is on common sense approaches that are also grounded in research. Each issue will feature articles from at least one of the major educational disciplines.
CXJ is currently seeking submissions from all disciplines within the field of Education, including Educational Administration, Physical Education, Counseling, etc.
Submissions to the journal go through a blind review process, and if revisions are warranted, the manuscript will be returned for corrections. Authors also agree to have their work edited for content and grammar.
To submit your work, send and e-mail to lynch39083aol.com, aboyd@assessments.com, tthames@ped.umsmed.edu and include a cover letter with your complete contact information, i. e., lead authors name, institutional affiliation, address, phone number, and e-mail address. Attach you work as a word or PDF file. Once your correspondence is received, you will receive an e-mail confirming your submission. If your submission is accepted, it will appear in our journal within 7 months. In addition, please send 4 paper copies of your manuscript to:

Obtaining Permissions
Authors are responsible for obtaining all necessary releases/permissions for their articles and they alone are liable for any acts of plagiarism or failure to obtain releases/permissions.

CXJ does not want to copyright your article(s). We only request the first serial publication rights.
Length of Submissions

Pa Papers/Articles/Editorials should not exceed 2,000 words and must contain a 250 word abstract. Letters to the Editor should not be over 800 words.
